Glitter Bird

Little Red Glitter Bird

For Christmas I made the cutest glitter bird. I got the idea from Martha Stewarts website. Here is the Link: http://www.marthastewart.com/photogallery/glittered-holiday-crafts#slide_29
If you need an idea Martha Stewart has so many you have to find some that you like and can make. I like cute ideas that seem manageable. I also like to get results. That is, I like to get a cute usable craft from the project.

The glitter bird was a big hit at Christmas. I put some pictures together to make a slide show. Take a look. Martha was interviewed not long ago and said she made 100 million dollars from glitter. Cynthia McFadden interviewed Martha on Nightline. She really pushes it. If you watch her show or look at her website you will see glitter. Her craft merchandise is expensive but it's the best in quality and easy to use. Michael's and Walmart both carry her line of craft supplies. If I had a lot money I would like to buy all her products.

Take a look at the slide show I made of the materials used to make glitter bird.

A Wonderful Present

Melissa made this card for my birthday.

It is so beautiful That I had to put it on my blog.

  • Take a look at the detail. It's kind of like a seek and Find Book.
  • Do you see the table with the birthday cake it looks so good (I want to eat it) and those candles make it look so festive. I am ready to blow them out.
There is also a tea cup on the table. Tea please!
  • Above the cake is a poster that says flower grove and it is filled with hearts, eight hearts.
  • To the left of the table is a rainbow colored toucan.
  • Isn't it outrageously beautiful. The center of attention of this drawing.
  • To the right of the table are two white flowers and they are raining petals on the little girl.
  • Petals of happiness are falling on the girl that could be Melissa.
  • The little girl has the biggest smile and she even has little pink cheeks.
  • The sun is in the upper right hand corner looking down on everything making a happy warm place.
  • On the far left is a girl with blond hair and a long pink dress.
  • I think she looks like me. I am the birthday girl.
  • In the sky is a banner that says, Happy Birthday Eve.
  • It is decorated with green and blue stripes and looks like a balloon. It tells the viewer what is going on in the picture.
  • There are two other people in the picture, they look like a small women and a big man. I think this is mommy and daddy.
  • Melissa has even drawn the ground and it looks like it's alive with plants.
  • I was so excited about this amazing drawing by Melissa.
  • It has so much detail that it is interesting and exciting to look at.
  • When you look at the color it is bright with an impressionistic quality.
  • The drawing has a real feel of texture.
  • The composition of the drawing is excellent.
  • It is balanced and all the elements retail to the subject.
  • Melissa is a true artist as she draws what she feels.
  • She takes time with her drawing and wants viewers to share her interests an enthusiasm.
  • I am proud to have received this masterpiece.

    Thank you very much Melissa!
    I Love you!

Look At My Slidshow

I was fooling around with www.slide.com, a site that allows you to make slidshows. It is fun to do. It has a lot of options for creating different slide shows. Take a look at it. I would like to see what cool things you could do. What do you think.
